Mumbai Nagpur Expressway will be opened for the general public soon to connect the major cities of Mumbai and Nagpur. Mumbai Nagpur Expressway was conceived and conceptualised in the year 2015. The government announced the project in 2015 and after two years bids were invited from contractors. Presently, the Maharashtra Samrudhhi Mahamarg project is underway and will be opened to the public in 2023.
