Pune Aurangabad Expressway Status

The Pune Aurangabad Expressway is in the under-construction phase and planning is underway. The NHAI and Maharashtra government are working together to develop the route map. At present, the authorities are working on the land acquisition near the expressway. Once all the paperwork is completed the construction process of Pune Aurangabad Expressway will commence. 

Pune Aurangabad Expressway Land Acquisition

The construction of the Pune Aurangabad Expressway is underway in close collaboration with NHAI and Maharashtra government. The government has chosen some major areas that are vital for the development of the project. It is estimated that the authorities will appoint some major officers who will buy land in Bhor taluka, Daund and Purandar. Along with this, several acres of land will be brought in Haveli and Shirur taluka as well. 

Reports suggest that the villagers and landowners will get full compensation for their lands. It is estimated that the total expenditure for the land acquisition is equal to Rs 6000 crores. The NHAI will also acquire some more lands to connect it to major state highways.
